The ESYP-VMPSE-SYS is a serial intelligent communication module based on the 6U VME format and the Motorola MPC860 Power Quick processor. The carrier board hosts one or two intelligent PMC modules (EHWP.PMCSE-BRD) based on the MPC860T processor, this PMC can offer a maximum of 12 communication serial channels in full duplex, plus two Ethernet 10/100 Mbit channels. The serial channels can be configured in synch or asynch mode, with RS-232 or RS-422 interface, with speed up to 2 Mbit/sec.
