The PMCSE-BRD is a PMC serial communication module based on the Motorola MPC860T, this can control up to 6 communication full duplex serial channels and a Ethernet channel. Four of these channels can be individually configured as being asynchrony or synchrony, with standard modem lines RS-232 or RS-422 and with speed up to 2 Mbit/s. The other two channels are only RS-232 with speed up to 115 Kbit/s. All communication signals are available on the Pn4 PMC rear connector, while a front RJ45 connector gives the Ethernet link.
